Hello everyone,
I hope all is well.
So this I believe marks the 6th entry of the messier object list of the night sky stargazing targets.
There are 110 objects listed. So if I finished 6, then 104 pieces to go.
The 1st time I saw this target in the night sky was like a patch of sparkling dust in the sky, and I grabbed my binocular to get a better look and it looked as a real chandelier hanging there in the sky. I asked the more expert astronomer next to me back then (nearly 16 years ago) to tell me more about it. He said in Arabic it is called the grape cluster, and in the Western lore as the Beehive cluster, and back in the old days in the Arabic peninsula, people used to check this target to see if the weather will be dusty in the morning or foggy based on its brightness and dimming.
Enjoy the tranquility in the age of noise.
Best wishes.
