What Would Peace Be Like

Hello everyone, I hope all is well.

Socotra island and it's living creature are very fascinating. The most striking living feature in this island is the Dracaena Cinnabari, aka the Dragon Blood Tree.

I wanted to paint this tree for a while, but I couldn't figure out the setting until today.

I spend most of the day painting it with few breaks thanks to my lovely cat Dipper.

Of course, I wanted to be better than its current state, however, I am very satisfied with it and it feels good.

Painting it wasn't with out little stress, but it was extremely enjoyable and peaceful.

I will go back to this island for inspiration in my future work at some point.

I hope viewing it makes you feels the same way I did making it.
